When you give your employees company logo shirts, you aren’t only providing them a uniform. You are creating a marketing opportunity for your business. Company logo shirts are one of the most effective promotional products that you can give your employees and customers. When your employees wear embroidered company logo shirts, more people will be aware of your company, products, and services. This increases brand awareness and promotes brand identity and image.
There are two most common types of shirts that you can give away as promotional items: T-shirts and polo shirts.

T-Shirts

T-shirts are usually simple in cut and made of thin cotton, making them perfect to wear during summer. If you decide to give promotional T-shirts, it’s best to put your logo over the whole or most of the front side. This gives you an opportunity to display your marketing message in a highly visible way. You can also print the message on the back of the shirt.

Polo Shirts

Polo shirts are the second most popular type of shirts that both men and women usually wear. They are mostly plain with short sleeves, a collar, and two or three buttons that open at the neck. Polo shirts also fall in the type of casual shirts that go best with jeans or shorts. They are mostly popular among middle aged people as they are mostly plain, unlike T-shirts which comes in different colors, patterns, and designs. Women pair polo shirts with jeans and shorts while men wear them with jeans and dress pants.
For company logo shirts for women and men, it’s best to display the logo on the left breast pocket, or whichever side the pocket is located. You can also have the logo embroidered on the collar or on the cuff, making the marketing message visible when shaking hands. As polo shirts are worn by an older target market, avoid elaborate designs and larger logo and graphics.
